God In Alcoholics Anonymous: A luxury I Can’t Afford

Posted by admin on April 15, 2017
god / No Comments

God in AA is a luxury a primary alcoholic can’t afford. God in replace of sobriety simply doesn’t work. If you’ve got God in AA meetings, you haven’t got a grasp on sobriety. Sober people get you sober but they are not being called anymore. These days they talk about God and working 12 steps in AA and not talking about sobriety.

God in Alcoholics Anonymous

That’s not sobriety. That’s madness. Sobriety needs to always be a priority in AA meetings. Like it was once, years ago. Instead we find people chairing meetings who have no idea what they’re doing, like Lana last week.

Some have been around for a long time and they still have not got sober. They are not Primary alcoholics (people allergic to alcohol). Instead primary’s die through lack of information at meetings.

Now they have people chairing who don’t call sober people. Worse still they have no concept of what is sobriety. It’s evident they haven’t a clue on how to keep people sober. Sober people know their history and they don’t like it. They can’t lies from the floor.

When long term members are in attendance they can’t lie about sobriety. Long term sober people know when they’ve had a bust or two (meaning they have not had unbroken sobriety). Many of these people who attend meetings are not Primary’s, not secondary’s, they are not even alcoholics at all. The grog will not kill them so they can afford to make mistakes.

Lana Said She Didn’t Have God, Is Why She Busted – But She Did !

Lana chaired a meeting last week: She came to AA 30 years ago and never stayed sober for any length of time. She had no shame in not calling sober people. She left a member of the fellowship with 26 years of unbroken sobriety sit there listening to failure after failure called to speak. People who instead spoke of unresolved issues in their life, surmountable problems, and told how unhappy they were to be not drinking.

Common sense would tell you to call sobriety to help people who have failed. How else can they find out what they’re going wrong, why they can’t stay sober. Sobriety is not a matter of life and death for all who attend AA meetings. For primary’s it is that serious and so if they make a mistake they don’t last. They die, and a new lot take their place, and noting changes.

The chairwomen who didn’t call sobriety, in fact went out of her way NOT to call sobriety. Her history is she had not been to AA meetings for over 10 years. She had a failed relationship and left AA. She’s back, a couple years now and nothing has changed. She’s still winging about having no sobriety.

Sobriety or God

The meeting she chaired has been going for over 26 years. All this time and they do not have anyone sober to put in the chair. Lana said recently from the floor that she didn’t get sober all those years ago because she didn’t have God in her life but she did. She was telling us, back then, she did.

That’s typical though, she known for not telling the truth as is all spiritualists in AA meetings. Before she left AA 10 years ago she said she was praying and “working the program”. Never staying sober though.

In the early 1990’s Lana told a group member (who she fancied) that she was 10 years sober. An older sober member (OSM) went to see who this could be. First names are used only in AA so to further identify someone we ask, “How long are they sober”? That way someone can be identified when name matches up with sobriety.

Hers didn’t, so we went to see who she was. when OSM saw it was her they knew she was not 10 years sober. Not many people would know she lied and she may have got away with it. It’s dangerous though for new people to think they are dealing with an OSM when they are not. Especially when they offer themselves as a sponsor.

Addiction is not an Alcohol Problem

Posted by admin on March 17, 2017
addiction / No Comments

A Primary alcoholic is not someone who has an addiction to alcohol. They are allergic to alcohol. So it’s not true when someone says they are an addict in relation to a problem with alcohol. Once you’ve learned how to cope with an alcohol problem it’s a good thing not to be consuming alcohol. Someone with a problem is to learn why they need to stop drinking alcohol.

free from addiction

Society is brainwashed by multi million $ advertising that wants us to believe that not drinking alcohol means missing out on something good. This is SO not true. In reality it is the total opposite. It’s a delusion to think alcohol will enhance your life. Corporations who make lots of money from the sale of alcohol and Detox Centres make money from addiction.

Instead the message here is to stop drinking or die. Being allergic to alcohol and not being aware of the problem is the danger. Alcohol is an illegal drug contrary to the belief of Russell Brand. It’s a drug that’s no better if not worse then other illegal drugs. Alcohol has a different affect and it’s treatment needs to be different to gain positive results.

The person allergic to alcohol is often referred to here as “a primary” and it’s explained why they’re different to heavy drinkers. They’re different also to drug addicts and different to secondary alcoholics. They are in a class on their own.

They have a different makeup to the drunk/secondary/spiritualist/headcase/sexo/etc. that frequent AA meetings. It is confusing at times for a primary to know how to get sober. Confusing because there’s no awareness of the true problem associated with alcohol. It’s not understood in mainstream media.

AA’s anonymity is why Alcoholics Anonymous was so successful for many years. AA helped people once but it’s very hard now to get sober. One reason why this site is necessary – to get the information out. Information that’s not in the meetings anymore.

Instead victims now don’t have an understanding as to why they can’t drink alcohol. A primary is allergic to alcohol and so can not drink like normal people. One drink sets up a compulsion. One drink is not enough because they drink for affect and not for the taste. An affect to the allergy caused by alcohol.

Getting sober is now a paid business where some are making a killing in more ways then one from addiction. AA is free and this is why it’s not popular with the addiction moneymakers as a solution to get people sober. AA is however the only place that’s known to have success for the allergy and possibly those with addiction.

Drug addiction is Different. Different affect, different nature to Alcohol.

They are smarter. Much smarter then the step workers and spiritualists who frequent AA meetings. Listen to them and a primary will end up dead. Primary’s are business people and so they can pick up things much easier – easier then the average person as well. That’s because they are logical thinkers. They are also fast learners.

The spiritualists and step workers are not logical thinkers or fast learners. For example, they say from the floor of meetings that they are “slow learners” and that they are a ‘garden variety alcoholic’ In other words, they have the IQ of a pot plant. Alcohol will not kill them. They have OTHER PROBLEMS.

Alcohol affects a Primary differently to a drunk. Because of an allergy to alcohol. NOT addiction to alcohol and drugs. The allergy oppresses their natural abilities and so the behaviour is often opposite to capabilities. They’re useless in many ways. Alcohol causes difficulties with keeping in tough with daily living skills. The simple things become difficult.

Life becomes unmanageable. When drinking a primary don’t recognize they are smart. What happens doesn’t happen to the average person. It affects them differently. This fact is not common knowledge and so doesn’t have an easily recognized solution.

The sufferer doesn’t understand what’s happening to them. They don’t recognize warning signs. The danger signals. Someone who is allergic to alcohol may at times behave like a hopeless drunk, but they are not drunks. They don’t pass out like a drunk does. Quite the opposite, they have a huge capacity of alcohol.

They can not see that it affects them mentally. They have mental blackouts and this is difficult to understand or even recognize. A primary needs to recognize how they are different and why alcohol affects them differently.

A primary is not the derelict in the park. He’s not a weak hopeless person who pees himself. He’s far from that description. The mainstream media depicts alcoholism in this way but it’s not true for the person allergic to alcohol. A mental allergy to alcohol is what the media lies about or has no knowledge of.

It’s the normal to be sober. Life is not meant for artificial highs. Life is meant to be experiencing natural highs. This is not possible if there’s an allergy to alcohol and it effects the brain. A primary is not someone that passes out from alcohol. A good alkie doesn’t come alive till around 2am.

It’s good if you are a sober primary.

A primary is a good honest and happy person. A pillar in society in many instances. Example is Dr Sylvester Minogue. A primary is often a leader and is someone people look up to.

It’s an advantage to be a sober primary. He’s basically honest although unpredictable when drinking. He can not guarantee his behavior when drinking alcohol. Not even in small amounts. It sets up a compulsion. He is allergic to alcohol and it’s an allergy to the brain. The frontal lobe. It flips the thinking and that happens from that very first drink.

Life is never the same again after drinking alcohol. Not until he stops drinking it and he spend time adjusting the thinking back to the person he would have been if not for alcohol. In other words to get sober.

AA and How It Doesn’t Work

Posted by admin on July 12, 2014
A.A. / No Comments

Alcoholics are trying to get sober in AA by working steps and it doesn’t work. The success rate is nil but they keep telling a new lot that come in the same thing that sent the last lot to their grave. They come to AA and listen to the spiritualists by praying and working steps for sobriety. Instead of this helping them it puts the alcoholics head in the past. That’s where it is when they are drinking and so it’s not long before they are drinking again and not going to AA.

This happens to them because they start working steps and praying for sobriety:drunk_women

They become stuck in the past and this knocks their confidence in what they are doing in their day to day life in the here and now. Alkies will identify with that awful perturbing situation of being happy and positive one minute and negative and hating life the next. This is because they have shunted from a positive, head in today state, to a negative past thinking pattern – that only another sober alkie can get them out of. Sober alcoholics in AA are the only ones who will understand what has happened to them and they also recognise when this is happening to them, at the time.

It is a bit like when kids thinks that if they keep crying they will get something that they want. This works when you are a helpless baby but as you grow you learn different strategies of behaving and thinking that work better for getting what we want. We develop better strategies for different situations we are in, as we grow up.

In a similar scenario, an alkie is stuck with the thinking and strategies he learned while drinking. That is because he had surrounded himself with others like himself, and when he gets off the alcohol that same way of thinking is all he knows. Until he gets sober.

Until then he only has the old thinking to rely on and it is completely inappropriate for sober living. He is like Rip Van Winkle waking up from a long sleep in which he is in a world that has changed and he is completely out of step.

The alkie early on in sobriety only has the drinking strategies as a way of thinking and it takes time for him to get sober. This is done by living in the day, and doing it a day at a time. He needs time to learn to deal with life in a sober manner and to deal with it at the time life is happening.

He needs to be with sober people to get the help he needs to show him how to lay down the new thinking patterns and how the new strategies work so that they are then able to use the new strategies when future situations arises. They then replace the old way of thinking with a new sober way of thinking and behaving.

This learning can not be achieved by working steps and praying for sobriety. This will only send them nuts and back to drinking. This always happens after they have been flogging themselves to death with working steps and praying like a praying mantis. They then go back to drink again. Also very few get a second chance at coming back to AA and they die.

While getting sober in AA and while they are still not sober they will only have the old strategies of the past as a way of thinking. They need time to learn that all they have to do is ask sober people. Let them do their thinking for them in the beginning.

Problem is however that now very few sober people are around in AA these days! Working steps for sobriety has caused a huge gap in sobriety in AA because people are not staying sober. The vacuum has been filled with people coming to AA who are not alcoholics and do not understand what it takes to get one sober.

Alcoholics do not have a base as in having grown up and matured when they first arrive in AA. They only have the mad ideas, in most cases of a teenager who has been pickled and learned everything they know from black and white movies and from the other drunks in the pub.

So, they do not have the maturity to understand their past. They have no ability to pick a goodie from a baddie. Its a bit like if someone smiles at them they presume they are nice people and if they grimace they are bad.

They need time to get sober. This means to get sane and to mature. To grow up and this can only happen by walking away from what kept them drunk both physically and mentally and they need to learn to live in the day, by dealing with life on a daily basis.

They need the help of someone who has got out of the hole themselves. Someone who can show them how to do the same. Thereby laying down new foundation of information in their memories. New foundations that will work for them rather than them using the old information that kept them drunk and it did not work for them anyway.

Religion and God are a personal thing. It has a different perception for everybody and everyone has their own personal understanding and belief in what God is.  It stands to reason therefor that if everybody is talking about a different perception then this type of thinking has no place in AA for alcoholics wanting to get sober – how can it?

Dr Bob Did Not Get Sober

Posted by admin on December 17, 2011
A.A. / 9 Comments

It is sometimes said that he did however Dr Bob did not get sober and unfortunately for him he died drunk.

It is stated in some AA literature that Dr Bob Smith said to Bill Wilson., “Lets keep this simple Bill, don’t complicate it.”

It is also known that before he died he became very concerned about what was happening to AA because of Wilson’s influence. On his deathbed he said to him, “Don’t stuff it up Bill, just keep this thing simple”

Unfortunately for anyone wanting to get sober today Bill did stuff it up back then and AA is still suffering as a result.  He put the idea of making money before the importance of getting results with sobriety.

Bill did not keep it simple back then because there was no money in it. Read about it in the History of AA transcript. Instead he introduced literature and religion into AA to attract business. He did this because he wanted to sell a ‘program’ to the Church.

History shows us that bringing religion into AA caused the first 100 men to bust and drink again. Before this they were originally getting sober with The Oxford Group of Western Canada.

The Oxford Group were Monks so they knew that religion could not get them sober. Instead they left god outside the door when they had their meetings.

Because Bill fancied himself as a business man he saw another opportunity to make money from the first 100 sober men. He wanted to write a book about them.

When the book was finally published and the men read it they all went mad and got drunk. Some people may say that this is good for business however it certainly is not good for sobriety.

After that and other similar experiences alcoholics will not write their story. All that have done so in the past have not stayed sober. This is fact and there are no exceptions.

How To Stop Drinking and be Happy About It

Posted by admin on December 09, 2011
How to stop drinking / 4 Comments

Have you ever wondered why you do not know how to stop drinking? Have you lost control when drinking and often vowed to never let that happen again – only to find that it does happen again and that you end up in an even worse situation than the last time?

If you identify with this then it is important to understand why it is happening. It could be you or someone you know. Either way if they are not sure if they have a drinking problem or not, then they need to try to stop drinking and find out. If they can not stop then they will have to admit that there is a problem?

Some people drink for the taste and some people drink for the effect whatever that effect may be. Whether they realise it or not the people drinking for effect are chasing an effect that they never ever get.

Common sense says that if the effect is achieved then they would know when to stop drinking. They would not be chasing the effect into blackouts or until they can’t get any more to drink which is what they do.

Someone in this situation sometimes and on some level may realise that they are a person who can not have just one drink and be satisfied. They may realise that they are liable to rip the place apart if they couldn’t get that second drink. Knowing this they then decide to stop drinking altogether.

In this situation what happens is that almost immediately after deciding to stop drinking, is that alcohol becomes an obsession. It becomes the main focus of their thoughts.

Problem is they don’t change anything and they go out to socialize with the same old drinking friends and instead of enjoying themselves as they should be doing, they are instead focused on the not drinking. It is such an issue that they can not last the night without having to have a drink and so they start drinking again and drink even heavier then before.

They don’t see the situation as it really is. Situation is that even when they are not drinking alcohol they are not behaving like a sober person either. Main reason for not behaving like a sober person is that they are not hanging out with sober people and they are not doing the things that sober people are doing.

They probably have not considered whether they are in the company of people who they have something in common with or nothing in common except for the alcohol.

They can not last long if they are trying to stay sober if they are standing around with the same crowd and drinking squash with them, while the rest are drinking alcohol. If you have done the real thing (drinking alcohol) why then would you stand around pretending to be drinking when you are not.

The situation is that they have not changed anything except for what drink is in their hand so under these circumstances there is no other choice for them but to start drinking again. They will probably find in this situation that the head is spinning and they need the drink to settle their unstable thinking down or they will risk going completely mad and sometimes have suicidal thoughts as a result.

In a situation such as this the self help fellowship of AA is the only thing known to have success with stopping drinking and helping in getting sober. It is a must in such a situation to be doing an AA meetingevery day and a must to get up when you are asked to speak and tell your story of, what it was like, what happened, and what it is like now. Doing this is not for anyone else, it’s for you, to get your head straight.

Doing this over time pulls you positive in your thinking. Make sure you are doing it properly by always ending your talk with a positive of, what it is like now. I.e. I am one day sober, I have done a meeting today and I am staying out of the old environment. The story is built upon as time goes on and you are staying sober so the head continues to clear up and you can remember more of what happened.

This is now the positivity in your life. Staying sober is positive. In the early days of getting sober it is probably the only positive thing you have in your life until you have sober time up, the fog starts to lift and you can start living a normal life without alcohol.

By doing AA daily you now have reason to be optimistic. AA has helped many people who’s lives were once controlled by alcohol to become successful, contented and useful members of society.

If you are one of the sober successful people from AA then tell us how you did it.
