This site is about Survival and ‘How To Make It’ after stoping drinking alcohol.
We have information on how to achieve sobriety. It’s important to learn how to be a survivor once it’s decide to limit alcohol consumption. One who is drinking and wants to now limit the intake will learn it’s not easy to stay sober and sobriety simply doesn’t happen by accident. It’s a MUST to know what to do next. The knowledge needs to be learned little by little. It is needed to continue to stay sober and happy to be staying away from the next drink. To do this it takes time to grow.
The good news is that there’s nothing to be ashamed of for wanting to give up alcohol. If it’s a primary purpose, well good, someone is allergic to alcohol and it out of their lives. The term primary purpose may not immediately be understood. Mistakes are made due to mainstream media misconceptions on what alcohol does to people and are not fully aware of the many problems it causes. An alcohol problem for a Primary is not an addiction, it’s an allergy – to alcohol.
Life is difficult as a heavy drinker. Drunks are depicted as alcoholics by mainstream media. They’re not alcoholics. Most are just drunks. There is a difference and this blog endeavors to help the sufferer to distinguish the very important difference between the two conditions.
Kids with the bright eyes are the adults who are allergic to alcohol
An allergy to alcohol can be detected in early life – they are the kids with the bright eyes and they are the smart ones.
They should never touch alcohol. If they do it sets up a compulsion. It becomes a way of life, This happens very quickly, from the first drink- as an adult. Don’t count drinking the dregs from people’s glasses as a kid.
Basically what happens is that the allergy flips the thinking and they are never the same again. They are ones who then need drink to support the new personality. This is very dangerous.
A small percentage survive long enough to make it to a self help group before their health deteriorates badly. If they make it to AA, they have won lotto. Unfortunately though they then need to win lotto again to be able to stay around. They need to be smart enough to sort the oats from the chaff. Problem is they are not very smart at this stage. They’re so wiped out from alcohol it takes time for the thinking to settle down.
We have an important message. A message that saves lives. The information is needed to be able to achieve sobriety.
